On Tuesday our Summer Hi Tech Festival in collaboration with Somerco took place in our Cocoon Global Event Space. Discussions centred around the latest developments in the FinTech sector.
This packed one-day conference is part of the recently launched Panda Innovation Series that takes place several times a year at Cocoon Global, connecting UK and Chinese entrepreneurial talent, key opinion leaders and investors to discuss all matters tech and investment crypto investment, blockchain, cleantech, drones, smart grids, personal success stories and more.
Tuesday’s Summer Hi Tech Festival was led by Co-Chairman of Cocoon Global and Newcastle Business School Chair of Technology & Operations Management, Professor Xiong, himself a highly experienced Chinese serial entrepreneur, and fostered by Chairman & CEO of Cocoon Global Mr. Chen, who recently acquired Magna Carta Island with plans to set up an additional innovation centre. The event was attended by special guest Mr. Peter P Meli, the Economic Attaché at the Malta High Commission in London.
