London Tech Week has arrived in China!

May 21, 2018

Last week the Cocoon Networks team under the leadership of John Zai brought London Tech Week to China, in collaboration with KNect 365 and London & Partners.

Our two LTW launch events took place in Shanghai and Shenzhen, and dare we say, they were a huge success!

The purpose of LTW@China was to showcase the great wealth of talent London’s tech scene has to offer to our audience of Chinese investors, industry professionals and government representatives prior to London Tech Week in London in June. We convened a fantastic calibre of keynote speakers and panellists from the fields of academia, industry, finance and government who shared their insights and took part in lively debates surrounding the topics of Fintech & Blockchain, Cloud Computing, Smart City, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, RegTech & The Buy Side to China, Belt & Road Initiative, Capital & Global Technological Innovation, Unicorn companies and the Future Impact of Artificial Intelligence.

A special thank you also to our London friends and partners who travelled over to China to be part of this Sino-British highlight of the year!

Going forward, Cocoon Networks is greatly anticipating London Tech Week in June, and we are very excited to once again be hosting our flagship China-UK Hi! Technology Festival.

We are very excited, as London Tech Week is Europe’s largest technology convention. In 2017, the event-packed week covered all the hottest tech topics such as 5G, VR&AR, E-commerce, robotics, AI, Machine Learning, driverless cars, Cloud technology, software innovation, MedTech, GreenTech and many more. In 2017, London Tech Week welcomed 40,000 guests from more than 70 countries, doing justice to the event motto #LondonisOpen.

Our China-UK Hi! Technology Festival takes place on Tuesday, 12th of June 2018. Under the motto of Igniting the future, we aim to encourage a long-term, profitable future for UK-China relations and trade. We’re expecting 3,000 delegates, including UK businesses that want to explore China, as well as Chinese investors and business figures.
