Cocoon Networks & Northumbria University's new business clinic

January 31, 2018

Running a business and interested in welcoming a group of young, enthusiastic and talented minds to deliver new input?

We are delighted to announce that our investment and business platform Cocoon Networks and Northumbria University London Campus have joined forces.

Together we will deliver a business clinic whereby we connect our partners with Northumbria’s outstanding students and graduates. We believe Northumbria’s business, computing and project management students can bring fresh and creative solutions to existing businesses within our network. At the same time, these young minds can learn from the expertise of our well established partners.

Northumbria University has an excellent track record of developing strong research minds and graduates with high employability and great potential. Newcastle Business School is amongst the few select business schools in the country to hold an AACSB accreditation for both its business and accounting programmes.

One of the many successful innovations at Northumbria is its Consultancy and Internship Clinic.  Cocoon Networks is now supporting these initiatives to create opportunities for the Northumbria London students to engage in live, supervised, projects or work experience in which individual or team of students will work to solve employer led business problems and challenges.

Internships or Consultancy Projects last 12-15 weeks and are open to a range of subject areas including but not limited to project management, computing, IT and information security, marketing, planning and strategy, marketing communications, organisational design, operations management, strategy, change management, innovation, social responsibility and people management.

We believe this is a brilliant opportunity for our Cocoon partners. We are looking forward to seeing students bringing new energy, critical but also solution-oriented thinking, and creative business perspectives to your business!

The programme is flexible in terms of commitment, and Cocoon Networks will support businesses as much as we can. This includes free use of our hot desk areas to work together with the students during the project period and granting access to attend events hosted in our building (4 Christopher St. London, EC2A 2BS).
